Biographical note: Lawyer, civil and political leader and member of the Arizona Board of Regents; Samuel Henry Morris arrived in Arizona in 1893. He practiced law in Bisbee and Globe for the Phelps Dodge Corporation. He was a member of the Democratic National Committee from Arizona from 1940 to 1952 and served on the Arizona Board of Regents from 1943 to 1963. His wife, Cornelia was active in many women's organizations. She organized the Women's Club in Globe. From the description of...
